SUPERGEL Allmobility anti-decubitus cushion
The SUPERGEL Allmobility anti-decubitus cushion is made of a slightly contoured viscoelastic foam base (produced by Basf®), with the addition of a double-density polyurethane gel part in the support areas of the ischium, where the pressure is greatest.Gel mix of polyols and isocyanate
This gel (which is a mix of polyols and isocyanates) is used for its shock absorbing properties. Unlike some water-based or silicone-based gels, it does not lose its shape, harden, age or break.
The contoured shape allows for a better distribution of the pressure load and helps prevent front slipping. The removable cover supplied is made of breathable 3D fabric: equipped with a grip handle, zip (covered) and anti-slip.
The medium prevention cushion has been subjected to specific tests to verify its resistance to anterior slipping, pressure distribution, microclimate (humidity and temperature), its ability to resist sinking of the ischial tuberosities and its shock absorption.
